Afro-Caribbean Society has first fashion show modelling underground designers

Bright colours, beats and Baptist sermons were the order of the night at the Afro-Caribbean Society’s (ACS) first fashion show.

Fashion Fusion is the progressive event that FCH chapel held on Friday. Brands and designers like Jacqueline Jazlmode, Jolance Inspired and Renatha Hoga were apart of the event. The chapel was brightened up by the vivid colours and the live music from DJ Mikey Lee and rappers Saint G and Pxnther.  There was also a sermon by Pastor Muchie Hove of Christ the King Ministries.

This was the first event of its kind that the ACS had hosted. The society’s president, Angela Kodie, said they are keen to host more over the next few years.

Angela told UniVersal what went into the event and how she felt it went.
