Review: the return of Katy Perry, Take That

It has been two years since our ears were blessed by any type of music from Katy Perry and Take That. Fear no more, they are both back with incredible songs. Katy Perry is back after a two year break with her new song, ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ and Take That are back with their new song, ‘Giants’.
Firstly, Katy Perry’s ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ is without a doubt going to get to the number one spot. Katy never fails to bring out a catchy pop song that everyone loves. I know for a fact that I am going to be chained to the song for a very long time. One of the lyrics to the song is, “turn it up, keep it on repeat”. Don’t worry Katy because that is exactly what I am going to be doing. Even the lyric music video is satisfying. It shows a hamster receiving food in miniature form and it was oddly admirable to watch. I have always been a big fan and it is a good time when Katy Perry is back on our radio. I cannot wait to see what else she has to come from her new album. Also, look out for the official music video coming on the 21st February.

What more could anyone ask for than a new single from Take That and a reunion with Robbie Williams? I’ll answer that, nothing. It is every Take That fan’s dream to have Robbie back in the band. This dream is about to become a reality as Robbie is back for the final of Gary Barlow’s new show, Let it Shine. As well as this, Take That also have a new single called ‘Giants’. This is your typical Take That song. You will automatically know it’s them straight away. It is one of those feel good songs that you can’t help but smile to. It is truly pop at its best. Well done boys, what a nice little comeback after ‘These Days’. Also, did I mention that they are going on tour? Those tickets are going to be selling out fast. If you want to see them, then you need to be quick. I can guarantee that everyone will be trying to get tickets for their tour and dancing along to ‘Giants’ and their other great hits. It is a song ready made for the arenas.
